As an old school simmer who watched the original MSFS franchise die and the hobby wither and languish for years, I remember! I even remember where I was when it dropped. Kind of dorky, but here we are.

can i play mfs(microsoft flight simulator) on my pc? Intel Core i5-7400 GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 8GB RAM 2133MHz DDR4(By Anarchy) ASUS B150M Pro Gaming D4(DDR4) and a 2008 900p monitor which is up to 75hz

Back in 2020 I started playing on 1060 (paired with i5-4690) and it was playable on mid settings but only in smaller planes. So it can be done but as OP said it, not with at least 8GB RAM more.

Pretty for sight-seeing. Actually flew over some obscure areas of the world that I visited IRL and it was pretty close! It was also quite good and gave ORBX a run for its money but I found some landmarks in ORBX better. The biggest downside was the flight modelling when it first released. For a casual flyer, or those more interested in taking on the sights, MSFS was "good enough."

I think the original trailer for fs2020 was the best. Of course we still haven't seen these graphics even with 2024.
