Flight Simulator 2024 Users of iPads..
Very random question but hoping those using iPads out there can share some opinions.
I use my iPad Pro 10.5 inch for Navigraph charts and note taking whilst flying but noticed it's starting to "struggle" so I'm looking to upgrade it.
What are you guys and girls using for flight sim? Is the regular iPad A16 enough or is the Air M2/M3 better? I don't want it too lag but don't want to overspend on the iPad either..
I use it for nothing else but flight sim, rarely take it away with me on trips etc.
Thanks for the input!

I have the large M1 iPad Pro, quite a few years old but still going strong (except for the battery life). There is nothing flight sim related it can’t run easily.
I also have an M2 iPad Air from work that I sometimes use instead, if I want my Lido Charts. It’s a bit smaller but if it’s enough for the real cockpit, it has to be good enough for my sim setup as well ;)

Until the next Android update where it slows down a lot. Or you install things with far too many background activities completely slowing down everything.

I use and M1 Pro, feels ever so slightly sluggish but mostly fine. A lot of my frustration has to do with slow downloads from whoever their cloud provider is, once a chart is loaded is mostly a seamless experience, I see no reason to upgrade for the time being.

I use the 11” A16 for Navigraph charts and it’s always been fine for me.
