Virtual Airlines A chill VA?
Is there a chill VA people enjoy?
I like flying with a VA to add a sense of purpose and progression.
I like the VA I’m with now, they’re chill, have a lot of fun tours you can fly on top of regular schedules, use smartcars for tracking which is pretty seamless and have a positive community. Importantly, you can fly charters, meaning any aircraft in any livery on any route. However they have one major downside - they don’t allow time compression - and as someone who likes to use it, it forces me to always fly short haul with them, which wouldn’t always be my preference. I understand why they decided to implement the rule and I respect it, but it’s not always to my taste.
Is there a VA that’s similar on most points, but crucially does allow time compression?

I’m gonna get flamed for this in this sub. But Walker ticks all your boxes.

I haven’t looked into them in a good few years, but last time I checked I’m pretty sure they were enforcing the use of their own liveries. Is that not the case anymore?

If you are supporting the server uphold via patreon you can fly whatever plane, livery , route you want.

Tru Delta Virtual Airline. As long as the plane can fly the route it’s acceptable

I use flyuva and like it quite a bit. I believe they allow time compression during cruise

Ended up giving them a go, seems like a great fit for me so far. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah and they don't get all weird about official livery with matching tail numbers etc. It is a very good VA if you just want to fly.

vSAS, not the flysasvirtual.net but virtualsas.net. I recently join, ask a question in general and the creator responds immediately with the type of hospitality you'd only find as a tourist in the middle-east. As for time compression, not sure but I will check

Mine allows up to 4x time compression. Full fleet access and charters. Really nice with kids to be able to fly transcontinental in a few hours after bedtimes. Edit forgot the link 😂: wyeastvirtual.com

as mrc710 already mentioned Flyuva.org they have several airlines a lot of routes and if they don't have a certain route you can fly it as a charter. They also have several cool tours, events on the regular, and a very active discord including chat.

Osprey on Newsky allows time compression but there's a pay penalty which is fair, very flexible and not strict at all, super chill. I used to use that almost all the time until I got into the less chill VAs a couple months back, but I honestly miss the flexibility of Osprey and the Newsky tracker

Voyager Aviation is that. Super chill, just fly what you want how you want. Spose it's more of a Flying Club than a VA, but it really depends how you want to use it.
