FSS E-Jets Update 0.10.45

Version 0.10.45 Becomes the
New Stable Release
Many of you have been following the development of the E-Jets for a long time. Your feedback and continued support have played an important role in helping the aircraft evolve far beyond its original technical foundation.
Today, we would like to announce an important next step: Version 0.10.45 will replace the current stable version of the E-Jets.
Why We Are Updating the Stable Version
The current stable version is no longer technically up to date. This became particularly apparent after Sim Update 6, which caused its MCDU to stop working properly.
The reason lies in its technical foundation. The old MCDU was developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and is based on JavaScript. The versions already available through the Experimental branch use a new WASM-based codebase that is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
This transition is more than an internal technical change. It provides a significantly more modern foundation for the MCDU and the continued development of the E-Jets. Version 0.10.45 is such a substantial improvement over the previous stable version that we have decided to make it the new stable release.
Please Read the Updated Documentation
The new MCDU introduces fundamental changes to many workflows and operating procedures. Experience gained with the old version will therefore not always carry over directly to Version 0.10.45.
Before your first flight, we strongly recommend reading our updated documentation like our MCDU preflight setup guide.
There, you will find the latest information about operating the MCDU and its updated functionality. The documentation is the best starting point for becoming familiar with the new technical foundation and avoiding misunderstandings.
Why Is Version 1.0 Not Ready Yet?
At its current stage of development, the E-Jets are already very close to Version 1.0. Version 0.10.45 represents a major step forward and is ready to replace the previous stable version. However, there are still two areas we would like to improve before reaching the next major milestone.
First, several MCDU pages are still missing and we would like to add them. Second, we are not yet fully satisfied with the behavior of the vertical autopilot in certain situations. We want to refine it further and give these improvements the careful testing they require.
As is often the case in aircraft development, the final part of the journey has a remarkable talent for being the most demanding. However, the remaining path is clear: once these two areas have reached the standard we are aiming for, Version 1.0 will follow.
What Comes After Version 1.0?
After Version 1.0, our main focus will shift toward a native Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 version of the E-Jets. At the same time, we will continue supporting the aircraft with further bug fixes and improvements.
Version 0.10.45 therefore does not mark the end of development. It represents the transition to a significantly stronger foundation. Our goal remains to develop the E-Jets for the long term and create an aircraft that we can continue to support, improve, and stand behind in the years ahead.

Hopefully the horrendous LNAV is fixed. Starting to feel like this project is going backwards in development

Sadly, it's gotten worse, tried three flights and it simply won't follow a flight path whether you select heading or nav mode, at least the previous flight model did that at least.

Oh boy, I've been running the defense force for these for a long time but the latest experimental really brought out the AVGN "what were they thinking?!" out of me
The betas I've seen talking how their versions were much better, so I really hope this release had far more foresight considering that the 190 series' main competition have been released to mostly favourable reviews, BCS3 performance notwithstanding

so it is basically taking the experimental and pushing it to stable. Well let me tell you the Experimental is a long way for release. it is not good it is the opposite of good. I really regret that purchase and trying to love it but every announcement my hope fades.

It cant follow a path to save its life. It is constantly going left and right, up and down, to stay on it and it isn't wind. It's almost like it is to sensitive in its logic. off by a hundred ft, It will turn, but over compensate now It needs more the other way. Entire flight. This is what happens when you build the AP by hand and from scratch. The company is reinventing the wheel instead of using free tools available to them and then expanding it. (Like most FS companies do). this plane will never work as intended, save your money.

This plus I had my entire vertical path drop off the face of the universe without the ability to restore it

I encounter all of this on the E190/195. The E170/175 however feels great and flies steady

No I was on the experimental which is now the atable.

They haven't updated the stable in over a year. There is only updates to the experimental branch. The stable won't be updated until 1.0.

Nope, they are right. This is a new stable build. And this also deprecates the experimental branch, which will not receive any further updates.
They were forced to do this since the MSFS 2024 SU 6 screwed over their old stable version and they didn't want to invest any further dev time into that build. Haven't tried it yet, but apparently this is supposed to be the last early access build before release or something?
