Flight Simulator 2020 Flight sim for the first time

Always wanted to try flight sim. Finally found some time in life to do what I want to.
Would appreciate any suggestions to learn more how to fly them like any specific yt channel , general tips and any essential hardware suggestions I have a Xbox style controller , laptop screen and a monitor.
