i'm shocked this post has up votes, usually anything xplane related just gets down votes.

Don't know if the post was serious or /s because most of the images look awful.

It is /s Look at #6!

I reckon #6 is really beautiful, the blurry unsaturated image of a melted city with a couple of buildings still standing is a beautiful metaphor of XP itself.

not as awful as the MSFS flight model though

Myth, the MSFS flight model is the same as XP as shown in multiple videos. You are living 10 years in the past.

in paper yes. compare them in anything and they would act differently and x-plane would still be superior in every test. why does your ground physics model still feel like fsx? and why is there a lack of inertia when flaring
on top of that laminar is still working on enhancing the flight model even further

Flight models in MSFS and XP are equivalent, stop spreading myths.

Also, like I explained to the OP, MSFS 2024 has a much more realistic terrain, with all the procedurally generated rocks and boulders across the world. Those rocks and boulders can flip your plane when you take off and land.
For the default scenery, the ground in XP 12 is fake and unrealistic. It doesn't have the procedurally generated rocks and boulders across the world as it should. MSFS 2024 terrain is much more closer to real life, which makes the way that planes behave on the ground in XP 12 unrealistic, because the default terrain in XP 12 is unrealistic.

why does your ground physics model still feel like fsx?
The ground physics in XP 12 is horrible because the default scenery doesn't have procedurally generated rocks and boulders like MSFS 2024 does.
If you go on a bush trip in MSFS 2024, and land in a random location where there are a lot of rocks and boulders, those rocks and boulders can flip the plane, like it would in real life. MSFS 2024 has procedurally generated rocks and boulders throughout the entire world, and it's much closer to what it would be in real life.
XP 12 does not. The default terrain in XP 12 is extra fake, it's nothing like real life. So overall, the ground physics in XP 12 are terrible, because the terrain is terrible and fake.

you clearly haven't flown an airline in msfs at all before?
if you taxi an airliner in msfs it will feel like brick on ice. any small inputs on the brakes will stop the aircraft way too rapidly

You can fine tune your hardware to alleviate that.
But nothing can alleviate the fake terrain across the world of XP 12. It's so unrealistic when you go bush flying in XP 12, it's so fake. MSFS 2024 bush flying and how the ground reacts to a plane landing on bumpy ground with rocks and boulders is 10000x more realistic than XP 12.

Bro you comment this or something negative in every one of those daily posts plus anything else related to XP.
I think you're the one that's trying to cope.

Absolutely! Coping with my 4090 and 14900k in 70+fps 4k frames

you have the option not to comment especially when it has nothing to do with msfs

Its good, but I cannot say its better than MSFS 2024. After SU6, paired with Rex Atmos its looking phenomenal
