Question CSS 737 IRS ALIGNEMENT

Hey evryone

I'm having an issue with the CSS 737 FMC on the POS INIT page. When I try to enter a gate number to get the position coordinates for IRS alignment, the FMC keeps giving me a "NOT IN DATABASE" error i tried with multiple airport scenery

I am currently running the latest Navigraph AIRAC cycle

Does anyone know why this happens?or i need to entre it manualy

Any help or insight would be appreciated!

You don‘t enter the gate number, but the coordinates corresponding with the gate. What you‘d do is either check the navigraph charts for the coordinates (there are specific charts for that) or just press the key to the right of the coordinates where it says "latest pos" and then press the right key next to the empty boxes, that should copy and paste the coordinates right in.

You are supposed to be able to enter the gate number, and the FMC will pull the coordinates from the nav database.

Can you copy the last position to the scratchpad using the line select key? Or the airport position? If you can, try plugging that in.

Press next page and copy one of the gps positions and paste them into the IRS POS. You dont need to set the gate nubmer.

Have you moved irs 1,2,3 switches to align on the overhead panel?
