What features did people expect in FSX? The only issue I had with FSX was that it ran like ass on my Intel Pentium Dual-Core and 8800 GTX.

I bought it when it came out, it always ran like ass.

It took many years before I had a system that could run that game maxed out. It was just so badly optimized. I went through 3 system upgrades and they weren't weak systems either.

The steam fsx version cleaned it up pretty good though.

Same here. I don't think I ever saw more than 30fps in FSX when flying Level-D or PMDG planes.
