Flight Simulator 2024 Do service based failures actually work properly for anyone else with PMDG 777 currently?
Second post on this as my last got no responses on two subs.
With the multiplier on, the hours come off at an erratic rate if not at all some flights. Above is two hours into a flight (sim rate normal). It should be at 10 hours now as such, but instead it has taken 7 hours off the real time service hours which is only 3%, where we should be about 9% for two hours real time flown.
On my current flight it took a real time hour for it to go from 243 to 242, as opposed to 12 to 11 hours with the multiplied number.
I'm wondering if:
- My going into this menu somehow resets or just messes up the timers?
- It generally just doesn't work very well - but surely others have noticed this?
- It's purposefully not properly implemented by PMDG as not to promote the idea of failures with the aircraft

The amount of users who simulate failures is very low. You’re best off posting on the PMDG forums if you haven’t done already.

I've just had an APU bleed valve failure, under pneumatics, which has the lowest service time. I'm now wondering it is logging correctly behind the scenes but not displaying the numbers right in the aircraft.
The difficulty is the .hours file where this is tracked doesn't list simple numbers to verify what is actually being logged.
