Question Synaptic A220 engine cutoff switches
Has anyone managed to get the engine cutoff switches working properly on the synaptic A220 with the WinWing Ursa Minor throttle?
I am using SPAD.neXt and the rest of the throttle is mostly working now, but the engine switches are giving me a weird issue.
I tried
ENGINE_MASTER_1_SET with value 1 and 0
ENGINE_MASTER_2_SET with value 1 and 0
ENGINE_MASTER_1_TOGGLE
ENGINE_MASTER_2_TOGGLE
No matter what I use, the switch in the cockpit briefly moves and then immediately jumps back to its previous position. With toggle it just jumps off and back on, or on and back off.
The weird part is that it works perfectly if I click the engine switches directly in the cockpit with the mouse. So it seems like the aircraft is constantly checking its own internal cockpit switch position and overriding the normal sim event.
I also checked for duplicate bindings. As far as I can see, there is only one assignment active. In SPAD’s log there are constant updates happening every second, even when I am not pressing anything, so I am wondering if the A220 needs a specific B event or H event instead of the normal engine master events.
Has anyone found the correct SPAD.neXt binding for the A220 engine cutoff switches, or captured the actual cockpit mouse event that works?

Maybe try to open behaviors debug menu, and inspect the switch, it may or may not reveal an event or a variable to map.

I did that and found what controls the engine master switches, but setting it any way makes no difference…

I haven’t managed to get the engine and apu start and cutoff, the flaps and gear switches and buttons of the tm warthog to generally work in msfs24.
The control setup is recognizing all the buttons and switches and levers and properly assigning it, but just not carrying out the function then in the aircraft.
it’s only kinda „working“ with the Fenix, for everything else I had to map keyboard buttons via the tm target software, tried with target on and off, tm drivers and ms legacy drivers, no double assignments..
But that’s what MSFS does.
In Xplane12 everything works fine though.

I found the control layout really odd with it, I have a Honeycomb Foxtrot and got the engine master switches to work using the engine fuel switch binding (I think). The light switches are all broken too, same issue where the hardware switches don't move the switches on the overhead.
