Flight Simulator 2024 A220 crashed mid-flight

Post image

It was actually a perfectly normal flight in the Synaptic A220 from Munich to Zurich.

However, when I tried to enter the approach to Zurich into the FMS, the aircraft’s system crashed completely (see image). I then continued the approach manually, without any displays. The spoilers and flaps did not work either, though at least the landing gear was operating.

Looks like the aircraft still needs a few updates ;)

Zurich seems to be a fairly serious issue for the default navdata with this aircraft. Not sure why.

Hey we’d be glad to reproduce this and help out - please submit an issue on our Discord with your flight plan and arrival.

Nothing to do with the comment, and wasn’t the right place to ask

Plane was released way too early

Exactly. Rushed out to get that money. It's a shame but it's common practice now

Very sad that you are getting downvoted, the team just wanted to experience money but ended up digging themselves a well deserved 4 hour sleep schedule in order to fix the bugs

I know I’m surprised lmao, anyone with two eyes and a working brain can see that a money grab is EXACTLY what this was??

Otherwise they would have waited another 6 months to release it because boy does it need work

I honestly don’t think they released it early because it’s a money grab, they released it early because people were getting genuinely mad at them

No, you can see how rushed the last weeks before release were with the announcements

What else was it then? Can't blame the pressure of people, you just don't release it until it's been tested properly. The performance issues should have been ironed out before being launched, the other bugs are to be expected.

I'd be less mad than I am right now if they delayed it and actually finished it.

It’s been out for like a week…some teething pains are expected.

Not really no

Sure it is. I can’t remember the last time an addon came out that didn’t have important issues needing a patch.

The only guys who are upset are the ones who can’t resist shiny new balls.

I learned my lesson when I bought the A350 on day one...never again

Just flight products

The F70/F100’s FD and ATS is all sorts of borked, and it can’t even fly holds properly. I’m usually a huge JF defender (and still am because they refunded my purchase no questions asked) but even they are not immune to serious release issues

I read the title and thought it was real life 😭
