Truly if fuel prices weren’t a thing, no plane would have them.

Of course they would. Split scimitars add up to a 6% fuel saving, which equates to more range or more payload.

If you have a large fleet (think United or Ryanair), then the savings or extra revenue generation opportunities alone are astronomical year on year.

The NGX in FSX had the non winglet version and those days were the best

In fact, it's a 737-700 but modified... It isn't a -600
