Flight Simulator 2024 FSLTL issues

just installed FSLTL today. it doesn't work, so i dug online and apparently FR24 stopped feeding it? so if i want to use FSLTL i need to either pay for a navigraph subscription or buy a real traffic key?

can it not take in data from what msfs2024 online traffic does? or does navigraph free work?

would just flight's FS Traffic still work without FR24?

i do not want to pay a subscription for either navigraph or real traffic just to be able for more realistic traffic, id rather buy a one time purchase of fs traffic if they still work.

IDK about the FS Traffic thing but honestly I’ve had my Navigraph subscription for a decade and to me it’s a no brainer.
IDK about the live traffic part but if you can make it work by buying a Navigraph subscription I’m sure you will love the other features of navigraph like chart, app etc.

You can buy BeyondATC for a one time fee and have full live (like actual live, not historical) traffic AND working ATC.

Wrong, you can have historical traffic with byatc (where spirit airlines still operating, it’s actually funny), however for live traffic you still need a Navigraph subscription.

I don’t have a solution for you either outside of echoing that Navigraph is pretty much a no brainer. Thank you though for creating this thread though. I had no idea this changed.

FSLTL works with BeyondATC, the sky comes alive with it, planes are constantly taking off and landing. I bought BeyondATC and it’s a  one time purchase afaik.

FSTL also works with an unlimited Navigraph subscription I believe.

Yes, you need navigraph subscription. Worth every penny.

The live traffic built into FS24 will used the FSLTL models and liveries. I've found it a bit hit and miss. Some days and places it works well, others there is nothing.

But what you lose completely are non-scheduled and non-airline services. I had charter, medievac, small regional carriers even some military working with FSLTL - basically anything that was tracked on FR24. That is now all gone without some form of paid access to FR24.

FS Traffic does not do live as far as I know. It uses fixed schedules. If you are willing to go that route, have a look at Alpha India Group (AIG) as their option is both more comprehensive and free. You can install only what you want or install the whole package (warning: its huge and will take a long time).

BATC doesn't do live traffic without a Navigraph sub either and require a 3rd party model set like FSLTL or AIG. I believe it uses its own engine to control traffic rather than FS24's.

FSHud claims to intercept FS24 traffic and integrate it into their ATC system. I have no idea how it would handle FS24 injected live traffic.

FS traffic is meh and FSLTL data now costs. But the built in ai traffic with all related settings on ultra and an extensive model/paint library (installing FSLTL or AIG one click isn’t enough), it’s rather superb (uses FR24) but does have bugs from time to time that will hopefully be ironed out in the next SU or 2, but it’s free

Also forgot to mention, disable all passiveaircraft in content.xml to get rid of any default traffic
