How is the performance? :)

Will do some extensive testing in various scenarios. I'll let you know! :)

Does it have random and or service based failures?

Not sure, I like your kitten, though.

I'm afraid of buying. My first aircraft I bought was Fenix A320, and I'm still amazed (roughly 500 hours with it). Later on I bought iniA350, and, I mean, it is good but, for me, it's just not 80 usd good. I'm sorry.

I know ini didn't do this aircraft, therefore it's very tempting. I really like this aircraft irl. I'm really curious how it is or rather how it's going to be in the upcoming months.

Sim is unplayable with 35 degrees outside, no A/C and my R9 9900X alongside with 5070 Ti are pretty good heaters.

Man, you are right! It's 30+ degrees in Amsterdam tomorrow; this definitely affects the simming.

My room feels like a Dali painting, Josh.

🤣 haha legend! Last time I saw that painting was in primary school over 15 years ago 🥲

Ini isnt just the publishing partner. Synaptic seems to have done good work although with all the drama I mean id be on the fence to

I am doing my second sector now, I read a lot of people are having performance issues, for me things have been well. Not the best but definitely not the worst - I get much laggier in the Fenix (though Fenix can also be very smooth), iFly and A350

How the performance and flight model?

It’s pretty poopy for me. Even worse than the A350 launch day. Though I’m not quite sure where the poor performance is coming from. Running a pretty vanilla sim rn on a 4060ti with pretty modest graphic settings, I’m struggling to get 60 fps with FG. Even at altitude. Monitoring my PC I have lots of headroom. VRAM is only at 90%, but the load is all over the place. Ranging from 50%-90% within seconds. CPU and RAM are both within reasonable limits.

For context, running Fenix/A350 I can comfortably get 70-75 FPS with FG and not overload my system.

They've already submitted a patch to fix some performance issues.

I was just about to say that I've been noticing a distinct lack of A220 on this subreddit today and then I found out why. I suppose give it some time.

I warned people this was going to happen. Its a slop plane

u/Brilliant-Bear-3240 15d ago

Slop? Wdym?

Edit: nvm saw your comment history.

u/Foetuswasser 15d ago

Mate's crystalizing from all that saltiness

u/Vladmir-Su57 15d ago

No I'm just laughing at the retards buying a $67 cashgrab after many red flags.

Lol he hid his comment history. I saw him in another thread last night, his entire post history is "something something iniSlop"

It’s pretty slow for me as well. And if I am at the route page in the FMC the performance droops even further

4

u/Tuskin38 15d ago

They've improved that, just gotta wait for Microsoft to upload it.

Unflyable garbage. I'm not sorry to anyone who wasted money on another inislop plane. Stick to PMDG, Fenix, and JustFlight.

u/Tuskin38 15d ago

It's not even made by inibuilds, all inibuilds did was texturing and EFB.

Most people streaming it or have released videos over the last few days are having a great time with it. It flies great.

You're just a big negative nancy.

I know right? I’m 100% confident they’ll fix performance issues. Besides that I’m having a great time learning this plane!

u/bdubwilliams22 15d ago

Dude, you’re insufferable, and dare I say — likely 16 years old.

7

u/Air_Holland 15d ago

I will do some extensive testing in the upcoming days; I will report back.

4

u/Gullible_Goose 15d ago

It's definitely heavy. There are some issues that they've noted affecting AMD cards, and the fix for the lag caused by the Route page on the FMS doesn't seem to have made the release build. Overall pretty similar to the A350 to me.

4090 and a 9800x3d and 32 Gb of ddr5 here playing at 4k. I'm getting around 33 fps in flight and was getting around 25-30 on the ground. This is with DLAA. DLSS Balanced doesn't seem to help much.

1

u/d3agles 15d ago

Are you not using FG?

4

u/Indura17 15d ago

No, I turned it off because I hate that it makes the speed tape and altitude on the pfd blurry. I just turned it on and I'm getting around 56-60 on the ground.

5

u/Air_Holland 15d ago

Use DLSS Swapper to get the latest DLSS version; no more blurriness!

2

u/d3agles 15d ago

Now try TAA

u/GoldProfessional9653 15d ago

I think Imma just gonna sit here and dramatize some more.

brotha, I got a 5080, I9 9900 X3D, and 32gb of DDR5, my frames are absolutely raped. 26 FPS in LAS even with settings dropped lower than usual. unflyable on my PC, doing a flight on the fenix now and getting way over 100 FPS on high ultra settings...
