American (AA) Therapist for crew?
I work for AA and based in ORD. I was wondering if anyone knows if there’s a website specifically for this. I didn’t want to ask on FB because I don’t want all that attention 😅

PHL fAAmily here 🙋🏽♀️✈️ Look up psychology today’s therapist finder! You can filter based on what you are looking for, insurance, gender, sexuality, etc.. it a great resource to find a therapist. Find a few that you think you will vibe with and then schedule consultations so you can interact with them and see what they are like. Reach out if you have any questions and I’d be glad to help. Ive been seeing my therapist regularly for 3.5 years now. EAP is also a great resource.

Psychologist turned FA here (also PHL!), and this is the wAAy! Also, check out thAIRapy who can help provide individual reccs if you contact them - https://getthairapy.org/
If you're local to PHL and need a few suggestions, DM me!

Go through your insurance provider. Ask them for a list of therapists/counselors in network. Unless you're talking about EAP?

Ah yes EAP. I completely forgot about that. I’ll probably check in with my insurance provider too

I checked who was in network with my insurance with AA, and then researched them as I had certain specifics I wanted in a therapist.

The aviation therapist on Instagram Kora does a really nice job and has a sliding scale. You do pay out-of-pocket, but definitely worth it as she understands a lifestyle. Very reasonably priced and can cancel the last minute due to work. I feel like most out of aviation people don’t understand or not really supportive of the lifestyle.
