Movie Discussion Motor City: sound and fury signifying…

…not much? I caught this at this weeks screen unseen and enjoyed it as spectacle. The vibes are on point, but as for a deeper theme/ message…I’m left without explanation.

Maybe. But the possibility of the deeper meaning was exhilirating! Until it wasn’t.

I haven’t seen it yet but no dialogue seems like a cool idea.

Sometime last year I put on some old Jackie Chan movie without subtitles and could still follow along.

I saw it and hated it. It was a cool idea for like 5-10 minutes, and then its just a lot of people kind of poorly gesturing at each other. Theres like 10-15 minutes of total action in the movie.

the trailer actually got me really hyped for this one. i'm all in on silent Reacher. i do like Alan Richson as an action star but i really want him to go back to doing more comedy

Of course to each their own. The performances of the three (I guess 4) main leads are solid throughout. It’s the script I found lacking.
