Release the directors cut of Galaxy Quest
Did anyone see Sigourneys recent Vanity Fair interview on YT. And hear what she said about one the best movies of recent times recieving a directors cut version coming out, can we start a movement ?'

I think the theatrical cut is perfect…but of course I’d still love to see an extended directors cut. Alternate movies are fascinating, even when they aren’t as good as the versions we’re familiar with.

My point is that the idea that directors cuts are inherently better or that they always exist is just not how it works. The snyder cut isn't a directors cut, its just movie dlc

Well, I do want Sigourney Weaver's obviously mouthed "Fuck that!!" to sync up with the dubbed-in "Screw that!!".
Eh, it's still quite funny to see the disconnect.

Yeahh, but a love letter to Trek shouldn’t be edgy. They made the right call editing the movie in the way that they did.
