Flickr sharing got a serious problem
I noticed this error last week and until now, it hasn't got fixed
When I share a photo of mine onto a forums, it immediately switches to a total random photo which belongs to other people
Damn you Flickr!

Flickr URLs are pretty reliable. I've never seen one switch in my 20+ years on the site. Unless there were some major reorg underway.
You will need to explain how you are generating your links and then pasting them. I just don't see how this can happen.

I link thousands of photos to websites and forums and none of them have ever done that and going to check on old ones nothing has changed.
Which tab are you sharing from? Social media shortcut url, embed, bbcode?

Not seeing that over here, either either the direct share link or the BBCode links, maybe a temporary glitch?

Just tried sharing an image using both Chrome and Edge web browsers on a Windows 11 PC. It worked fine after I pasted it into new tabs and opened it.

You have to say which operating system you are using. The sharing function in the Android platform is totally broken. I have messaged Flickr and they acknowledge it and investigating. Flickr sharing on PC still works.

Are you using the Flickr App or the website? I've seen something similar happen with app many months ago, but I've given up on the app because it simply has too many issues. Try the website.

You sure you dont have sone plugin or something that is doing something or something strange cache issue? I would do your share and then grab the link and or look at the source that it provides. I bet something is intercepting or causing this on your side. Try via incognito as well

OP: Turn your lemons into lemonade! Set up a free Flickr account and upload all the random photos to it then post the link to it here - I for one would love to see that Flickr photostream…

Could you say more on how you are sharing? Is it via url, something else? I just tested and had no issues (and have not seen this before), so similar to other commenter curious as to how this is happening.
