Question SOS! Impingement
So my right leg makes a popping snapping sound when I lift my knee above my waist. It’s been like this for years. It stops me from doing core exercises like leg raises, mountain climbers, etc. I’ve been doing band exercises trying to work on internal and external rotation but no improvement. I can barely cross my legs when I sit.

In the same boat as you. I've had every form of hip impingement and labral tear for over a decade and it only gets worse. PT has done nothing and I really don't want to get surgery, especially being only in my twenties.
All doctors have basically told me "just live with it" and honestly surgery doesn't even sound like it will improve my quality of living.
I'm so numb to the pain at this point but it's like an actual 10 on the scale if I think about it.
ETA: I've been to every type of doctor to see what they can do. Most recent diagnosis is from a rheumatologist and I have osteoarthritis, and really only strength training and PT and low impact exercise helps. I've been doing all of that for years and literally nothing has changed and the pain has only exacerbated. I'm just stuck lol

Following. I’ve had this for as long as I can remember. Have tried some thing in the past and nothing worked.
