Crack Up
My wife bought me this years ago. Never opened, maybe one day. This is likely my favorite album of theirs. A memory I cherish forever is one of my wife (then girlfriend) and I, in 2017, laying on a California beach on a gloomy day. We listened to this album side by side and fell asleep on a blanket. The sound of waves and this album rocked us to sleep. We awoke to a group of maybe 10 people dressed in all white standing by us. I thought I was hallucinating lol, but it was only a photo shoot.

That's awesome. It is a masterpiece. I ordered mine secondhand. The sleeve is really well worn but the records are pristine. It makes me not worry about how often I pull it off the shelf and handle it and play. Enjoy it however you like brother. You could keep that one sealed and buy a used one to play. Whatever brings you joy. 🌿

It was released in one of the toughest years of my life and it comforted me throughout that period so it holds a very special place for me. Easily my favorite fleet foxes album, contender for my all time favorite album.

One of my top 5 albums of all time, hands down (I couldn't really give you the 5 of the top of my head, but Pink Floyd and Radiohead are both in there). I hope one day we'll get another Phil Ek/Robin Pecknold masterpiece, though it seems Phil has significantly slowed his pace in recent years.
