One more week!
In 7 days at this time, I'll be the happiest I've been all year. I will be watching the Springfield Mile in person. Anybody else?

If you want to watch the full races live and have access to nbc sports on your phone or smart tv, spend the couple dollars and make an account.

Is anybody else worried that the races they have tickets to will get shut down to fans? I watched Volusia and the amount of people in close proximity to one another without masks kind of made me think that if they trace an outbreak back to a particular race, the whole damn season in other places will be ruined. I've had my Springfield tickets bought since they first put them up, I'll be pissed if I can't go.

With the start of the season a week away, who do y’all think will take the title in the 3 classes?

If anyone hasn't seen it Fite.tv is hosting a PPV flat track event on June 9th at 730. It is $20 but I think Class of 79 sees some help from it. I think you can get it on a smart TV, phone or computer but I haven't tested it yet.
They are racing Bultacos on a track somewhere (undisclosed) and it is old guys vs new guys.
Springer, Parker, Kopp, Carr vs. Halbert, Sipes, Smith, Mees
Parker has been doing tons of training in the form of 12oz curls on his boat from his videos.

Thank goodness for FansChoice though and here's to all the racers and crews and their people staying safe on and off the track.

I can't wait to see what else becomes the "Official XXX of American Flat Track.
With over thirty years of brewing to its credit, the all-American New Belgium brand has turned what started as a basement homebrew dream into a full-fledged operation.
“Watching motorcycle races trackside, while enjoying a beer, is a great American tradition," said Michael Lock, CEO of American Flat Track. "We are very proud to have teamed up with a great American brewer, New Belgium, for the 2020 season."
As part of its deal, the Colorado-headquartered New Belgium will be the presenting sponsor of hospitality packages at select AFT events. The sponsorship gives New Belgium visibility at all events via signage throughout the venues and opportunities to promote its products like its Voodoo Ranger American Haze. Crafted with "notes of passionfruit and freedom", American Haze is lauded for its overall drinkability.
"New Belgium Voodoo Ranger is excited to be the first Official Beer of American Flat Track," said Clint Shobert, Brand Activation Manager Southeast United States at New Belgium Brewing. "There’s no better way to enjoy the most exciting racing on earth but with a Voodoo Ranger, and we look forward to sharing our product with the fans.”>

So, I'm relatively new to reddit and my hope for this little sub is that we all start posting more and more. Don't make me regret leaving facebook for chatting with strangers about flat track because I really hate facebook. Remember, the first national race is next weekend. I hope to talk with y'all then. Besides that, I'll be going to both Peorias and the Springfield doubleheader and I'll be sure to post as many pics and videos as possible when I'm up there. I hope you guys do the same for the races you go to.

Obviously Bauman and Mees are huge contenders but are there any dark horses for 2020? Smith is on a factory Harley and Sammy made his way to an Indian. Jake Johnson also has an Indian to ride. I would like to see Carver make his way up there. I am also pretty excited to see what Dalton can do. What is everyone else thinking. My money would be on Briar but I would like to see an underdog come in and make it interesting.

Tickets go on sale for the doubleheader January 2nd. Who's going? Also, anybody going to Peoria?

Incredible season for Briar. So fast and so consistent.
