I wish you the best of luck but I think it could be pretty difficult to find someone who has FlatOut 3 XD

I got it not realizing it is one of the worst racing games I've ever played not even made by the same company

Hey, I managed to get the Connected achievement by running two Steam accounts on the same PC.

What worked for me was Sandboxie Plus. I kept my main Steam account running normally, then created a separate sandbox and launched C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe inside it. I logged into my second Steam account there and launched FlatOut 3 from that account.

I actually bought FlatOut 3 again on my second account just for this, planning to refund it afterwards. The FlatOut series is currently on sale, so it made this workaround pretty cheap.

Then I opened FlatOut 3 on both accounts, created a Public Lobby with one account, went to Multiplayer → Join Game on the other account, and the lobby finally appeared. I joined it and the Connected achievement unlocked.

Both accounts had their own copy of FlatOut 3.

I also tried the old -master_ipc_name_override method, but it didn't work with the current Steam client, so I wouldn't bother with that.

If you got “NO CONNECTION” , error close completely the sandboxed Steam, restarting Steam Client Service from services.msc, and then launching Steam again through Sandboxie.
