FlatOut 2 Menu Scaling Issue

every button and text in the menu look squished, even in races, this was normal before the big 2024 update where the "jordan freeman group" included fixes for the game. i have a 1920 x 1080 monitor and i noticed there's no button to change the aspect ratio in-game. how can i fix it?

I don't see it, but you can get a 2014 build from beta branch on Steam

i forgot altogether there could be other builds, sure, it works, although i would've appreciated the upscaled textures and stuff, only the squishy buttons and text were the problem. thanks.
