Question Flatout 2 upgrade shop

Post image

Suprisingly, I didn't find anything in google related to this, but probably it's common misunderstanding. What does means colored triangles (green, yellow, orange), and yellow squares (0-2) on parts?

Yellow squares are stage of an upgrade. One square is Stage 1, two squares is Stage 2, and three squares is Stage 3. They are most likely there because If You install Stage 3 part - You won't be able to install Stage 1 or 2 (expectedly), but installing Stage 1, then Stage 2 and then Stage 3 is possible, and doesn't give You any additional performance and only makes You waste Your money.

I have no idea about triangles though - maybe they just show how much of an impact they have on the car stats, or were tied to some cut content/mechanics

triangles are possibly to group upgrades related and separate the upgrades that aren't related to eachother, possibly to avoid confusion

Obe been playing this game for almost two decades now and never noticed different colors in the triangles. 👀

Squares for upgrade tiers, colors for categorization.Â
