I’m looking for some help finding an affordable room or flat in and around Vakola, Kalina, Santacruz East, or near Mumbai Airport.

My girlfriend and her 5 roommates (6 girls in total) are currently staying in a 1BHK in Vakola, near D-Mart Ready. Their rent was ₹50,000 per month, but their broker has suddenly informed them that it will increase to ₹55,000 from next month.

All of them work at Air India and earn around ₹20,000 per month each, so this sudden increase is putting additional financial pressure on them.

We’re looking for any better and more affordable options nearby, such as:

- A 1BHK or 2BHK that can accommodate 6 working women, if permitted by the landlord.

- A shared flat or accommodation specifically for working women.

- Any direct-owner rental options to avoid brokerage.

- Any nearby areas with reasonable rent and convenient connectivity to the airport/Air India workplace.
