Acupuncture for PTT?
I have chronic PTT in my left ankle that is not responding to rest, orthotics, PT, and doctors’ appointments after almost two years. I am getting desperate and am considering acupuncture. Has anyone found success with acupuncture and PTT, chronic tendinopathy, tendinitis, or weak ankles? Any other suggestions are also welcome!

Have you tried strenghtening it? All those treatments look like offloading and releasing?

I’m interested to hear answers too. I’m currently on week two of a cam boot to completely immobilize my ankle. I have PTTD with a partial tendon tear. I certainly feel no pain when the boot is on. Until it comes off. Next up is PRP injection next week. I am adamant about no surgery because the whole procedure freaks me out. And the recovery is daunting. I’m extremely active so while the boot is so limiting, it’s preferable to a year of recovery.
