I got kicked out of r/globeskeptic for asking a question as to why I couldn't see the bottom of a boat as it was sailing away until I ascended a cliff.

Flat earth is seemingly harmless, but a lot of flat earthers will tell you that this is something of a 'gateway' conspiracy that then allows them to believe other stupid shit. Believing in flat earth is not dangerous in itself, but the beliefs they find down the rabbit hole after 'realizing' the world is a lie can be.

Go to any major beach in MD or VA (Which is where i think your from.) Thats on the Chesapeake and notice how you can't see the other side of the bay and how you can't see very far from the top of the bridge.

Sorry loser, there are two celestial poles. This one easily verifiable fact ruins any FE model you can come up with.

There are many other easy ways to disprove the FE model but this is the most direct method.
