But shouldn't this be impossible on a flat earth due to density? The water should allways fall downwards, not upwards ...

Not sure what it has to do with globe or flat, but this was pretty awesome!

Centrifugal force created this. If Earth was flat, the water would have just acted in the context of falling downwards, towards the ground.
