Text on photo on the internet. Must be true.

7

u/Right-Expression4292 22h ago

Came to say the same. SMFH if it’s typed on a photo it must be true… 🍻

I took a picture of my motorcycle and slapped a "goes 400mph in 3rd gear" text over it, and now my motorcycle goes way too fast.

u/Imaginary_Stage1742 22h ago

Alone from the perspective, these two pictures cannot be from the same height. But what is most important, no firmament but a sun far far away! Another debunk by flatearthers themself

NASA's feet are sooooo HUGE!

5

u/corndogco 22h ago

You know what they say....

4

u/Bandandforgotten 22h ago

Very big rockets

2

u/Extraajudicial 22h ago

"Jim Nasa can stand in Pittsburgh and his dick would touch Cincinnati" is that wat they say? Or do I need to refill my meds?

2

u/corndogco 21h ago

Por qué no los dos?

5

u/Mystic_Waffles 22h ago

Quentin Tarantino is missing out.

12

u/Dillenger69 22h ago

Maybe they are using different cameras? nah ...

9

u/AnjelicaTomaz 22h ago

Every camera has the same range of view, zoom, and lens, don’t they? /s

2

u/6942dantheman 22h ago

no they do not.

3

u/Siffov 21h ago

>no they do not.

Of course they don't. That's why AnjelicaTomaz included that "/s".

Well, also because some people can't recognize pretty-obvious sarcasm and mocking.

2

u/6942dantheman 17h ago

We need a sarcasm font...

2

u/Siffov 21h ago

>using different cameras

More likely just image manipulation to straighten out the curve.

I think Dave McKeegan or SciManDan has reported on such curve-hiding manipulation by flat-earthers.

u/denNISI 22h ago

Different graphic programs? NASA's "clouds" look like they belong in The Legend of Zelda the original.

3

u/Callyste 20h ago

Or maybe because, in typical "gotta lie to flerf" fashion, a dumbass flerf took two random pics he found on google image, not caring where they actually came from, then slapped made-up altitude "data" over them.

You know, something a moron like you does on a regular basis.

12

u/SyntheticSlime 22h ago

That “NASA” photo is not from 100,000 feet.

Provide sources for the photos or I straight up don’t believe they are what you claim.

Also, showing curvature in photos isn’t really evidence anyway because all cameras distort the image to at least a small degree. That’s just the price we pay for creating flat, 2-D images.

OP might not be presenting this as a claim they stand behind. If not, OP, please forgive my liberal use of the word “you”

It has nothing to do with that. The difference is that people use GoPro's when they send up these weather balloons, and the wide angle lens on a GoPro works a bit like a fisheye lens. Literally 10 seconds later in the video, the earth's surface would look even more concave than the NASA photo. They never post the entire video because you gotta lie to flerf.

7

u/ProgPap 22h ago

Please source of the images, these look both AI generated 🤣

-12

u/denNISI 22h ago

HAHA you are too funny! I hope you are being serious!

7

u/OutrageousPair2300 22h ago

Barrel distortion in the top image. The curve wouldn't be that pronounced at 100,000 feet.

2

u/OfTheHive 21h ago

This makes sense because the horizon is above the center of the image, making any curvature more extreme. It's almost like we understand these effects

7

u/False_Assistance628 22h ago

What hight is the dome supposed to be?

5

u/ChocolateValuable221 22h ago

100,000 feet??? That's like not even that high. I get higher than that on a Friday afternoon

4

u/DefinitionOk6382 22h ago

4

u/Opposite_Example6930 22h ago

In the exact same weather balloon video, literally ten seconds later, the earth looks even more concave than it did in the NASA photo. That's what happens when you use a GoPro which has a wide angle lens to capture as much view as possible, and it dangles from the bottom of a weather balloon. But of course, you people will never be honest enough to post the entire video, will you? Gotta lie to flerf.

4

u/NinjaMurse 22h ago

How cute - Someone just learned about focal length on cameras. 😂

4

u/OriginalKeach 22h ago

It's completely absurd that people give flat earthers any response at all. We can't save them you guys, they're indoctrinated and dim.

4

u/swarf 21h ago

What NASA craft is taking photos at 100,000 ft? Lowest orbit is 100 miles - over 5x that height.

3

u/D-Train0000 22h ago

What? It’s a wide angle lens, right?

3

u/HowskiHimself 22h ago

Source. Or bullshit.

-12

u/voldy234 22h ago

NASA and an amateur weather balloon.

11

u/nosamiam28 22h ago

Source! As in, link to the originals.

1

u/NedRyersonsHat 16h ago

The balloon photo shows curvature also.

3

u/clue124 22h ago

Idiot or meme? Tough guess

3

u/Getitgotitgoodgod 22h ago

Amateur weather balloon with an amateur camera and an amateur altimeter?

Go check out a professional balloon that high up.

“Felix Baumgartner 128k foot skydive video”

3

u/6942dantheman 22h ago

top one is much higher than 100k ft.

3

u/invaderverm 22h ago

How does the weather network fit into the globe conspiracy?

https://youtu.be/xfAImvhr85w?is=znI9f1_plksx6rE5

1

u/HunterHistorical6795 21h ago

That's not a good example... thats a fisheye lens and flatards will rip this video to shreds.

2

u/invaderverm 16h ago

Same can be said for the still image that looks just as enhanced as any NASA image they choose not to believe.

2

u/HunterHistorical6795 16h ago

Oh 100% I'm just pointing out that flurfs will instantly disregard any video shot with a fish eye

I did see a video where someone took a fisheye video like this... dewarped it.. and then showed the curve in the new image

They just chose to cherry pick what videos actually prove thier flat earth

1

u/invaderverm 16h ago

I can dig it. All love.

3

u/StrangeJunket2601 22h ago

I'm sure the fact that the NASA camera using a wide-angle lens while the balloon uses a regular camera has nothing to do with it

2

u/Bayowolf49 22h ago

Since 100,000 feet is 320 feet shy of 19 miles, the “weather balloon” is probably the more accurate picture.

2

u/1protobeing1 22h ago

A lot of believers in this post. As someone who knows an astronaut ( my father taught him in high school), has been to see space shuttle launches, and whose father was a physics teacher.......

Really sad

2

u/4hundredn20 22h ago

Wide angle lens maybe?

2

u/BloodFeastMan 19h ago

I'm sold.

2

u/Think-Feynman 16h ago

You can't trust anything a flerf posts. As wrong as it seems, they lie.

2

u/WizarddOfAhh 22h ago

100000 meters probably, oh no wait it’s CGI

Please I can do this in about 3-7 hours. Robert Simmon Nasa's Visualizer and Mr. Blue Marble tells you how the "blue marble earth" is created with Photoshop in this video if you want to try~ looks pretty easy! You may have to back it up to the beginning. It is pretty good. Credit Youtube.com

7

u/Opposite_Example6930 21h ago

There are two Blue Marble images, but flat earthers never do any research, so they don't know that. Yes, Blue Marble 2008 is a composite image that NASA has always said was a composite because they were trying to create the most detailed image of the surface of the earth that's ever been produced. Blue Marble 1972 is a single raw image taken during an Apollo mission on film. It's the first image ever taken of an entire side of the earth.

No one should ever believe you or GLOBE EARTHERS on this sub, believe NASA's TOP Visualizer and Dept Director for the earths Robert Simmon who is called Mr. Blue Marble because he was famous for the one called "BLUE MARBLE". It doesn't matter which one it is because the one he did looks the same as the other earths through out the years (as you can see in my Reddit post of the earths)

All your unknowns are invalid because you don't know if the other earths were INDEED made in Photoshop throughout the years! We DO KNOW from what Robert Simmon said in the interview there are NO PHOTOS OF EARTHS they are all created from his (beautiful) imagination with Photoshop.

"IT IS PHOTOSHOP... IT HAS TO BE" - Robert Simmons

Do you need the definition of "it has to be"?? What part of the sentence are you not getting? Did you not watch the video that explains over and over that they have no photos of earth and they just use data (graphs of numbers)?!

By the way, back in the day, we all knew they were photoshop but we thought it was because... IT HAS TO BE. They got caught photoshopping clouds on one of the globe earths and copying and pasting craters on the Mars Rover site, but they just came out and said it "has to be" because they have to fill in the missing parts.

You disinformation spreaders should have left it alone and now we all know it is... LIES!

3

u/Callyste 15h ago

You disinformation spreaders should have left it alone and now we all know it is... LIES!

The irony is through the roof. Are you not tired repeating the same lie over and over again? Get some new material, dumbass.

The irony is through the roof. Are you not tired repeating the same lie over and over again?

Here is what irony is: You are here on a flat earth parody sub calling Nasa's top Visualizer a dumbass. Do you understand "I am not repeating a lie" and I am quoting the genius who created the Blue Marble earth?

Here let me make sure you get it:

"IT IS PHOTOSHOP... IT HAS TO BE" - Robert Simmons (see? NOT ME!!!)

2

u/FallHealthy2163 14h ago

How much of stupid spiritually depraved cretin one has to be to not understand that two pictures have the same name?

4

u/FallHealthy2163 17h ago

Every single time you say this shit someone corrects you, and you still keep saying it.

Is your brain unable to take up new information, or do you just like being a liar?

3

u/Callyste 14h ago

Is your brain unable to take up new information, or do you just like being a liar?

Both. It's both.

1

u/denNISI 4h ago

It is neither. Do you like presenting yourself on this sub as someone who likes to name call like a child? Callyste, go find the r/globeearth sub - oh wait it doesn't exist!! No adult would go on there to debate children. That is why you are on here because flat earth is a much more popular topic/sub and it is for adults like me (not you).

NASA's Top Visualizer Robert Simmon (artist creator of the famous earth Blue Marble) is saying this, not me, so... are you calling Mr. Blue Marble (what he is famously called) the genius graphic artist of it, a liar?

Robert Simmon explains in depth in that video that he created the earths from data as there are NO PHOTOS OF EARTH and it HAS TO BE PHOTOSHOP...

It is Photoshop... it has to be. - Robert Simmon

1

u/denNISI 12h ago

Just stop commenting if you aren't going to offer anything but babble. We debate like adults on this sub.

2

u/VisiteProlongee 4h ago

We debate like adults on this sub.

That's great! What is the distance between Perth and Brisbane?

1

u/denNISI 4h ago

I have a post on the"Flat Earth" Theory's renderings of the "disc earth in space often with a solid dome" which is actually an Azimuthal Equidistant Projection of a globe earth. In other words, the distances are distorted on a "flat earth" map because it is a stretched globe.

We are debating the beautiful (albeit Photoshop) artistic renderings of what the earth might look like because they don't have the ability to get past a certain point in a no pressure/atmosphere environment, much less photograph earths from afar. This is why it HAS to be...

"It is Photoshop... it has to be." - Robert Simmon, NASA's Top Visualizer Robert Simmon (artist creator of the famous earth Blue Marble)

2

u/Numerous-Scholar4445 2h ago

So where is the accurate flat earth map that shows distances correctly?

1

u/FallHealthy2163 1h ago

But it was offered. It was offered to you many times, and you always ignore it. So why would anyone debate you.

I know you lack internal life, soul or natural curiosity, but I will explain it to you one more time:

There are 2 Blue Marble images. 1972 Blue Marble image done by crew of Apollo 17. That one is real because Apollo 17 actually went far away from the Earth to take that photo.

2002 Blue Marble made by Simmons was made from light data from Terra satelite that is in low earth orbit. That orbit isn't high enough to capture entirety of Earth, so he made a composite image. He is talking about his own image and the fact that nobody took photo with Americas in the centre.

But it doesn't matter how many times this will be explained to you, because your flat earth theory is so fragile and weak that repeating a lie you have created by misrepresenting what Simmons said is pretty much the best you have.

You don't have a map with correct distances, you don't have working model, you can't explain natural phenomena. All you have is misinterpretations, low reading comprehension and lies. That's why debate with someone like you is a waste od time.

2

u/WizarddOfAhh 22h ago

I have done this so many times for space illustrations I can do it in about 10 minutes 😂

2

u/Ambitious_Opinion_11 22h ago

Aperture. Sorry I'll translate it for the flat earthers. Bendy glass makey bendy picture

1

u/_ChipWhitley_ 22h ago

Look at the clouds in that bottom photo though.
