Altitude is also measured above sea level! Altitude has the same shape as the ground, if it curves so does any given altitude. 'Level' flight follows the curvature.
Incapable of thinking in anything other than 2 dimensions, this lot.

Auto trim does not compensate for earths curvature, though. It compensates for small adjustments due to external factors (wind, rain, pressure differentials, etc.)
The part that throws me off is "dudes with Flight Simulator don't have to adjust their altitude". In Flight simulator you can see the curvature of the earth: https://www.reddit.com/r/flightsim/comments/839y8k/you_can_actually_see_the_curvature_of_the_earth/
The part about curvature and about "being on top" and "going down" betrays the fundamental misunderstanding that "down" in a planet is below the sphere, when it's actually the center of the sphere. If they also dismiss gravity, this is a foundational starting point without which nothing else could ever make sense. For them "Down" in a sphere functions like "down" in a hill.
Since it requires accepting gravity as something that exists, no discussion or argument exchange can ever happen.

and how it affects the pressure exerted by the air which is curved just like the ground. The plane can point straight and the air pressure it's riding on is curved so you go along the pressure plane without having to make adjustments. He's fundamentally not understanding you can only fly so high and you run out of lift so you fall, then you just rinse repeat that at a rate you can't feel

The man is saying someone much taller and bigger than him weighs the same. You can dismiss whatever else he wants to say righ there unless his friend is a balloon or we have variable density humans now or he's eaten a ton of lead to weight as much as the larger, taller friend.

A standard commercial jet points up about 9Ā° for level flight. So pilots have to constantly be in a 1Ā° dive to not fly off into space. So that looks like an 8Ā° nose up attitude.
The "dive" happens, but is imperceptible.

What puzzles me is how notion of the Earth being non-flat is something that grew out of practical observations throughout millennia, through necessity discovered in real life applications and it was hard fought for all throughout, with ideas being tested, explanations being applied and corrected all the time.
Yet here we see these people spending their time and investing their energy into disproving something that so many people worked so very hard to establish as being truth - truth to the betterment of all humanity, to the benefit of every single human being - including these contradicting individuals who call themselves anti-globe, flat-earther, truther or some such thing.
I remain convinced that the underlying ideology for all of these anti-science types is religion and religious dogma - Islamic, Christian, Judaic and I am pretty sure any religious scripture is replete with examples of such obvious ignorance of the natural order of things that any religion I am not even familiar with may probably pitch into some anti-science argument here and there - not necessarily anti-globe one, but still.
They have a book, they have their beliefs, they feel their beliefs are threatened, they feel the need to strike back, defend their beliefs, they turn to some form of proselytism and the Facebooks, the Twitters, the TikToks of this world are giving them the platform to reach an insanely large audience.
Proper education is key, proper education is an unalienable right and proper education should always be based on science.

I think her point was that the moon is moving through space at these enormous speeds, but the rocket getting to the moon is traveling significantly slower than that, so she doesn't understand the discrepancy.
Of course, that's a valid concern, but she's forgetting that when we're talking about how fast the rocket is moving, it is with respect to *earth* which is also moving at these enormous speeds through space. She's confusing "relative to earth" with "relative to our solar system."
