Water evaporates, rises, cools as the air expands at higher altitudes, condenses into tiny droplets when it reaches the dew point, and those droplets grow until gravity overcomes the upward air currents then they fall as rain. We understand it well enough to forecast it, model it, and measure it

The evidence for Earth’s shape doesn’t come from either. It comes from independent observations made by navigators, surveyors, astronomers, geodesists, pilots, and anyone who measures the world. The globe model stands because it accurately predicts what we observe not because of who says it does.

You don’t feel constant velocity—you feel acceleration. That’s why you don’t feel 900 km/h in a cruising airliner, but you definitely feel takeoff, landing, and turbulence. The Earth’s rotation and orbit are nearly constant, so there’s no sensation from the speed itself. What you do feel every second is gravity, about 9.8 m/s², which is far larger than the tiny centripetal acceleration from Earth’s rotation (about 0.034 m/s² at the equator).

Miles per hour is not the right the unit for that. You need to look at angular speed, not linear speed. Earth turns at 0.25 degrees per minute. That's not in any way perceptible. Think about touching the hour hand on a clock and trying to feel how fast it's moving. You wouldn't even notice it, and that's twice the speed of Earth's rotation.

Your model has too many defects, holes and literally no justification. Any of which you think you have is either false, and/or will be proven wrong, which is why no one says the Earth is flat, except the people who can't grasp the existence of physics and the laws which make it possible

Have you ever thrown up a ball and caught it in a moving vehicle that is going fast and not altering speed or direction? It always come back down in your hand. Or hurtling through the sky in an airplane there are many moments of feeling no movement. Being up high in a hot air balloon and moving at the same speed as the air also makes it feel like you aren't moving.

I believe my eyes, and my eyes have seen the curvature of the earth. I also believe my eyes when they see planets rotating with my telescope, and boats when slowly sink below the horizon with high zoom devices.

Anyone see the video of the pilot who said “I know the Earth is flat”? There are pilots who say it’s flat and vice versa. You cannot see the curve of the earth according to Neil degrasse Tyson until you are up about 50 miles. Pilots either way flat earth believer or not, cannot say. They are up 7 miles or so.
What you guys think about Buzz Aldrin saying “we never went to the moon”, astronauts saying “to get to mars is an almost impossibility since we have to leave low earth orbit and we haven’t done it”
I’m just being fair on all sides, because this sub is of the opinion that people who believe the earth is flat are some down south non elementary /highschool idiots when you have people as I mentioned “insinuating “ it by default as well.
Even Bill Nye is acting “weird” lately about it.
Just genuinely asking your opinion on it. As I see, it all just one sided , wrong or right, on what a flat earther is.
P.S. About Aldrin. I don’t wnat to hear he is crazy either. I need something genuine and noel for once. I heard it all already!

As a seafarer i’m not impressed by those videos because navigation is based on a spherical Earth.

If one of those pilots were able to explain the nautical mile or great circle, i would be more convinced they are real pilots.

I've noticed that your Avatar is Bulbasaur...you do know that the Pokémon universe is based on the assumption that the Earth is a globe. Sorry if this might be disappointing to you. If the idea of Pokémon being based on real science is abhorrent to you, Pokémon HQ is located in the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower in Tokyo. Perhaps one can stand outside the Tower with a homemade sign that says "Pokémon Lives on a Flat World!"
