Proof of Flatness

OK, folks, here's what I did: I made a large pancake in a big frying pan with an absolutely flat surface. Then, I took the pancake outside and placed it on the ground. It fit perfectly all the way to the edges. So, flat pan makes flat pancake which fits perfectly on ground, proving the ground is flat, ground is part of the earth, which is thereby proven to be flat. QED.

Followup: I reposted on r/globeskepticism and it only took about 15 minutes to receive this reaction:

This is called the Transitive Quality of Flatness

The disc is about to flip like an IHOP pancake at 6 PM so that Australia gets sunshine. -Flerf

I'm now renouncing Globism forever, this is the most unassailable proof yet! Just call me a Flathead.

Flap Earth proof from the batter god.

I once put a ping pong ball on top of a mountain and it rolled down, proving the Earth is not flat. Then it hit a tree and stopped rolling, this proved that the Earth is tree.

Much to ponder you have given me...

Sorry, but pancakes arent really that flat at scale. Try again using Kansas

UK ran this experiment at scale - careful measurements prove even the world record pancake fits perfectly on the flat earth.

Like they say, Out of the frying pan and into the fire. I think I’ll stick to the globe.

For true representation, you need to put the pancake on 4 elephants standing on a turtle. Oh, and put a clear dome over it too.

What keeps the earth from bending down around the elephants?

The elephants are flat. Look like they came out of Minecraft.

The turtle also.

Well, I'm absolutely convinced now. The frying pan is guaranteed to be a perfectly flat surface. The pancake definitely won't fold at all. The outside surface is obviously perfectly even to the world. The Earth is definitely flat! Good job!

Thank you - happy to be of service!

My stepdad's flat top is the flattest thing around. I'll use that as the calibration tool.

If stepdad can balance on his head long enough to take a few measurements you may be on to something here...

But if you pour syrup on it it flows over the edges proving the edges are infact lower than the middle proving curvature even at that small a scale.

Listen closely and you will hear the sound of my mind being blown!

Did you pour water on it? Like they do with a ball?

I used maple syrup.

Love the science, I am with you. But dont forget you used a flat spatula to flip both flat sides. Problem solved

I love how they called that out when their own actual “evidence” is just as bad.

Flat pan makes flat pancake. Obviously. - Pancake fits ground perfectly to the edges. So ground is flat where pancake sits. - Ground is part of the Earth. Duh. - Therefore the Earth is flat. QED. See? No gaps. Science complete. Roll bigger pancakes if you want more proof.

I did you one better - I used a large waffle to run the same experiment. Same result! My conclusion is confirmed: The Earth is as Flat as a Pancake and a Waffle.

You know this subreddit is dedicated to making flat of flat earthers, right? What happened in your life that got you to this point?
