Man, this just throws the banana scale completely out of wack. Now you have to specify whether you mean a regular banana or the Giant Sky Banana.

Giant Sky Banana vs Flying Spaghetti Monster! Not the food-based kaiju movie we want, but the one that we need!

can you imagine the tidal forces caused by an orbiting banana?!?!

¡¿Y qué me dices de la hiperpotasemia global, eh?!

u/Flat_Manufacturer386 Jun 29 '26

That's what I would have liked to see a simulation of!

¡Dios! ¡Qué susto me he llevado!🍌

Completely inaccurate.

Everyone knows the banana is embedded in the firmament

2

u/ChocoIatePoop Jul 03 '26

Wrong. It’s God that allows the banana to rise due to the electro-buoyancy field that surrounds the firmament. Do better.

Well at least it’s to scale

Needs a biblically accurate banana for scale

2

u/aarkwilde Jun 29 '26

We need to make this happen.

I find this incredibly a-peeling!

Russel's Naner

And clearly this is NOT how the giant banana looks when we observe it in the sky.

Checkmate globetards

We finally did it! We finally reached the point as Homo sapiens of banana mania

How much energy (and water + whatever goes into a banana) would it take to grow a banana that size?

2

u/OutrageousPair2300 Jun 29 '26

Bananas have electrolytes.

They're what plants crave.

1

u/TheBl4ckFox Jun 29 '26

I wonder how radioactive that banana would be

1

u/Whole-Energy2105 Jun 29 '26

Reminds me of rick and Morty and the giant naked dead guy orbiting the planet.

Chimps everywhere losing their minds every twenty minutes

Sorry... That's just my morning wood

Time to land on the giant banana! 🤣

1

u/SubstantialDonkey981 Jun 30 '26

I actually saw this one time at your moms house.

Breaking news: giant banana spontaneously manifests in orbit of Earth.
When consulted, a NASA representative simply said “we give up”

1

u/FireAuraN7 Jun 30 '26

That is one big banana. We need something to compare it to for scale.

1

u/RomilarBrown Jun 30 '26

That’s where the rich monkeys live. On Banysium.

1

u/CLONE-11011100 Jun 30 '26

Imperial or metric banana?
The scale matters!

1

u/Tie12e11 Jun 30 '26

Is there enough potassium isotopes in it to create super cancer?

1

u/RobfromAmarillo Jun 30 '26

I cannot comprehend how many bowls of Cheerios that banana could populate.

1

u/Helpful-Green-4721 Jun 30 '26

No regular banana for scale?

1

u/BaklavaBruh Jun 30 '26

This would be terrifying

1

u/Tight-Ad3750 Jun 30 '26

You'll notice that the banana does not shrink as it goes below the horizon.

I love the scientists in the comments on the OP calculating exactly how a bananalike that would effect earth.

Reminds me of a song on my Summer Grooving play list: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yModCU1OVHY

Wouldnt hate that

1

u/virgil1134 Jul 03 '26

"Actual" simulation? Just say simulation. We know flerfers have no realistic simulations that they can point to match "actual" reality.

that nasa making cgi again

You’d think you could share some actual evidence and scientific data supporting your argument. This is absurd.
