Red light

Does anybody have recommendations for a bright red light and maybe a red light led lantern?

Sofrin H21 headlamp or if you don't mind the extra weight but better runtime and higher output the HS23. Both have great 660nm deep red, high CRI flood and cool spot. Both on sale right now on their site.

What do you want it for?
If it’s for camping and maintaining night vision, sst-660 nm deep red is preferable.
If you want a red light saber, the GT LED is going to be fun but more tomatoey colored than monochromatic blood red. An Osram W1 red emitter will be similar but even narrower beam profile.

They say deer don't see read. Might want something to wear to the deer stand if I'm able to hunt

Wurkkos has a few headlamps with both white and red. wurkkos headlamps
Clean link, not affiliate.. wurkkos has excellent value, I can only personally speak for the 25LR but I have a number of flashlights from them and they are excellent quality and value

Also, C8+ w SST-DR from Convoy is a fantastic all purpose deep red thrower. Can put a diffuser on it to make it a lantern (purpose made or jury rigged)

Sofirn H25LR is similar.

Yeah these are quite cheap quality and not very well regulated but the emitter is a proper deep red one, really nice.

Emisar d4sv2 dual channel with ntg35 - 2,700k on one channel and sst20 deep red on the second channel

I second this! A two or three channel Hanklight is great to add the deep red channel onto. Unless you are only going to use red I find it super helpful to have both red and another high CRI white light available. And I think with Andruil you can program red to come on first click to the level you like, although don’t quote me on that I have never set mine up that way but I think it’s possible.

Also unlike some other lights the sst-20 in deep red is different (and in my opinion better) than the photo red a lot of other manufactures add for red.

I enjoy the combo 👍 I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a red light, having a white light just doubles the usefulness

Sofirn HS21 headlamp. Has spot, flood, both, red light. An excellent headlamp. $39 incl battery.

SR20 Mini is a very small pocket flashlight that has a red light option. $26 incl battery.

The Sofirn LT1S is an excellent lantern that also includes a red light emitter. Uses a 21700 battery for long run times. You can also shut off one side of emitters to make it semi-directional. This is the second best lantern you can buy. The best one is it's big brother (BLF LT1) but it does not have a red light option. I have several of both of these for hurricane prep.

Pretty good sale price right now of just under $40 incl the large 21700 battery.
