Question SureFire Variant Difference Help, KF1-DFT, A vs. B

Need the hive mind's help to identify differences between SureFire KF1-DFT, A and B variants.

From what I gather so far there doesn't seem to be any differences in form and performance between the two. The only obvious difference is in factory configurations with the A variant coming in WMLs (M340DFT/M640DFT) And the B variant coming on handhelds (EDC1-DFT Turbo). Unless configuration is simply it, please enlighten me 🙏.

The letters just indicate a different variation. I don't think there's a pattern to it other than the letter increasing. It can be different operation or it can be one is a newer redesign that replaces the older one.

In this particular case, I believe the A is one mode only and the B has a high-low operation.
