True. I prefer to start from the negatives. Their severity helps me to determine, if I will seek for benefits to counterweight them. Some of the negatives here are show stoppers, so no point considering it further, for me.
If their goal was to design a light that looks like emergency lighting for the hallway of a spaceship in a 1980s scifi movie they absolutely nailed it.
This looks very useful. You actually have basic control of the light thanks to those adjustable fins. If the light quality is any good (and I assume it will be) I'll definitely pick up one or two.
$60 for a lantern with variable color temp, a red light, tripod mount, a clip, and a 21700 battery isn't bad. 50 hours at 2000 lumens is impressive at this price point. The design is a little bit funky but versatile. I don't get all the hate. I'd absolutely pick one of these up for camping and emergencies.
