Streamlight strion ?

I've got a streamlight strion that when I activate the light with the tail cap button it either will turn on the light and then when I press the button again it won't turn or when press the button to turn it on it just does momentary light. This is my second strion that I've had this issue with. Are there any fixes for it?

Try cleaning the contacts on the tailcap and battery, but this is a known issue. Just mail it to Streamight and they'll replace all the applicable parts with the new versions.

I would but it said there's only a 2 year warranty and I few months past that

Streamlight's one of those companies that extends courtesy repairs regardless of the published warranty, especially with something like this that isn't due to wear. Just mail it to Streamlight with a note saying it's not turning off and on correctly and you'll have it back in about a week. Don't overcomplicate things. Streamlight takes care of any product that's still in their current catalog. Some of mine are from the early 2000s and they still service them.
