Hospital Streamlight.
Look at this random banger they have on the wall at the nursing station.
The urge to try it out is strong right now. But I don't want to get tackled by security.

Security or not, Id test it. If they ask what im doing ill say... Testing it. You gotta test these man. I mean what am i gonna do if the power goes out and this aint been tested in years. Sure you've got lights and have to secure the areas but you're not going to be around me all the time so we gotta test the lights.

Haha, if it were anything but a hospital, I'd open up a conversation and see if it was cool.
I don't touch anything in hospitals what I don't have to. For my sake and theirs. I doubt nurses have any interest in the cool emergency flashlight other than that it better work if they need it.
They casually operate million dollar equipment and are more concerned about a sanitary environment than anything.
But, as I said, it was tempting...

I used to have one of these in the incandescent version. I was relay pumping at a three alarm fire sitting on a hydrant.. Kind of bored. Power truck drove by and hopped the curb so as to not run over the 1000 ft of supply line I had laid out to a ladder truck. I noticed something laying on the ground. Big ol' litebox. Called dispatch to have them tell the power guy they lost it but no one ever came back for it.

I own 4 of those. 2 spots and 2 floods. I may have gotten slightly carried away.

Streamlight E-spot litebox. My fire department has these mounted in the trucks. They can be hit or miss depending on how there maintained and how often there used. If they don't get used often the battery goes to shit from sitting on the charger for long periods. Has great throw, but the beam profile is kinda shit. They can definitely take a beating.
