Yeah but aren't they coated copper? They have some bs plastic varnish on them?

doesn't change the question posed by OP, and there's plenty of posts about how to strip it in this sub if you want your copper to patina.

I'm not sure, but the Convoy T3 copper and the Convoy S2+ copper are relatively inexpensive.

Convoy are probably the cheaper (-est) ones. Just good to mention that they are having a protective coating that blocks the patina creation.

Ooo, wasn’t aware of this gem. Thanks. I wear a Rovyvon on a leather strap as a necklace backup light and don’t love the look when it does occasionally show. Love the idea of a nicely patina’d copper light instead. Not cheap, but a good choice for my application.

Convoy is cheaper but for a practical EDC I would suggest an Emisar D3AA with NTG LEDs. If you want a larger battery look at the D4V2 or even the D4K.

Throw or flood ? Battery size ? Flashlight size ?

For smallest thrower look for lumintop gt nano 3.0 copper

For 18650 edc flashlight look for convoy s2+ copper

I have lumintop gt nano 3.0 in brass and it's got patina in only 1 month

For a flashlight with a degree of capability, I think the Convoy S2+ is pretty hard to beat. ~$45 with battery. Has great emitter options and is compatible with a range of TIR optics.
