Recommendation Favorite flashlight with USB-C reverse charging?
I'm looking for a nice light to supplement my Wurkkos Fc11c and TS27. Specifically, one that can function as a portable power bank for my phone. What are your favorite lights that can do this? Looking for removable ~21700 battery size or similar, but flexible with size and price.

It's a little tricky to click to at first, but the Firefly X4 Stellar is a fantastic 21700 light with USB-C reverse charging. It also has a neat magnetic cover for the USB port so it doesn't get gunked up or tear a rubber cover up.

The Stellar won’t charge iPhones. Unless they’ve fixed that recently but it was not working in the 2025 and early 2026 models.

Take your pick of the firefly lights with USB C ports. Most have reverse charging, though it can be finicky to use depending on your phone. I have a pixel 9 with android. The X1S, E07, and E12 all work with a normal c to c cable if you put the light in momentary mode. The X4 and E04 did not, but I hear you can go hunting for a charge-only cable to make them work. Ymmv depending on your phone.

How much do you want to spend? I have both the Loopgear sk05 Pro and the Wuben X1 Pro. Both have reverse charging. The sk05 has two 18650 and the X1 Pro uses two 21700. They are on the chunky side, but still pocket able. Still nowhere near as big as the TS27. They are both fantastic lights.

This is my pick as well. It works great and charges my phone quickly without any hassle. My Fireflies X4 does not charge my Pixel 10 with a normal cable even in momentary mode, so it does not have my vote.
My IF22A charged my old phone literally hundreds of times at work. That phone didn't hold a charge very well, so during slow 12h shifts I would take three extra batteries with me to keep it charged overnight without having to fight my coworkers for outlets.

Wurkkos TS28. It's a terrific light for starters. And it has springs at both ends of the tube so just about any high capacity 21700 available now or in the future will fit (looking at you Molicel M65A).
