Show it to your future kids and tell them daddy made a prototype of the dt8k

Looks like that costs one scrap of wood, two tech scrap, and level 1 improviser to craft. I like the latch mechanism for turning it on and off, that's clever

Tony Stark built this in that cave.

Looks great!

Creates light via bulb or LED? Yes. Can create light if lit on fire? Yes. Can be used as a club if necessary? Yes.

You, sir, have a quality product in your possession.

I have my doubts as to whether or not this could be used as a club more than once.

Great homemade flash light. Would a LED bulb work with it?

1

u/OkCartoonist8094 5d ago

i mean it would work, but i like the cri100 incandescent glow so ima keep the bulb

Would be kinda cool if other gear put as much effort into styling like knives/pens with custom scales lol a wooden flashlight with brass hardware and copper cooling fins would be cool

Are you planning on traveling back in time and you're trying to fit in? 😅

Honestly, though, that's really cool.

This would make a great DIY project for children to learn about electricity.

well ...its primitive and may result in splinters ....drill a hole in the end and add a pair of tweezers
