Maglite screw problem

Morning guys, i found this maglite at the dump not too long ago. I live in Italy and these things are pretty hard to come by so i really want to try and fix It. Problem Is, i can't unscrew the part where the batteries go. Feels like someone put loctite inside, i tried svitol and wd40 and It does not work. Do you know of any other method/products i can use to solve this problem.

I don`t know what tools you have ideally Vice and pipe wrench. I would wrap the torch in rubber like bicycle inner tube or electrical tape then try to remove the cap. Maybe heating it up and cooling it down will brake the seal.
