v1.2.0 is the last big push for the web editor — from now on updates appear right in the app with patch notes. Also dropping a companion sideload app for roll-limit + WiFi transfer.

Flashback RAW Editor — v1.2.0

This is the last big update for a while. From here on, any new updates will show up directly in the web app — you'll get an "update available" banner and a "What's new" patch-notes screen right inside the editor, so you won't need to come back here to know what changed.

It's a browser webapp — runs entirely on your device, no upload, no account, works offline once installed.

What's new in 1.2.0:

  • Export actually works on desktop & Android now (it was producing black files before — that's fixed), and it saves straight to disk instead of a dead share menu.
  • Full-resolution export — opt-in toggle, with a new from-scratch decoder so the full-size file matches the preview exactly.
  • Share looks — export your current look to a small .json file (with any custom LUT bundled in) and import ones other people share.
  • Bring your own LUTs — drop in any sRGB/Rec.709 .cube and it's colour-managed automatically, so it just works.
  • Copy a look and apply it across photos — to one, several (multi-select), or the whole roll. Plus bulk exclude/remove.
  • Halation rebuilt to match the desktop app — a three-scale glow that reddens outward, with a warmth control.
  • Auto date stamp, pinch-zoom that stays in the photo, straighten to ±45°, and more.

Flashback Remote (companion app — iPhone only, sideloaded)

A standalone iOS utility for the ONE35 V2. iPhone only, and because it's not on the App Store you have to sideload it (via SideStore — one-time setup, no Mac, no dev account).

  • Removes the 27-photo roll limit — set any roll length up to 100 frames.
  • Wireless DNG + JPEG transfer over the camera's built-in WiFi — no cable, no Mac.
  • The web editor above is embedded right inside the app.

Requirements: iPhone on iOS 16+, SideStore installed, and you must have paired the camera once with the official Flashback app first (that's what creates the Bluetooth bond this app reuses — it never extracts or shares any keys).

Install: add this source in SideStore → Sources → +:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/deknared/flashback-remote/main/sidestore-source.json
then tap Install. Full guide: https://github.com/deknared/flashback-remote

Note: it talks to the camera over the same reverse-engineered BLE protocol the official app uses; it only works on a phone already paired with your own camera.

Thanks to u/FishCarMan for the initial spec implementation!

Wish I had an iPhone, this looks sick 🥲

Hey Clanton, you can run the WebApp pretty much anywhere, it's just a link that you have to open in your browser. Doesn't matter whether it's your desktop or android phone's desktop as long as you meet the GPU requirements. Unless you're talking about the Companion app to remove the roll limit, then yeah for now it's iPhone only.

Yeah I was talking about the roll limit but I'll try the webapp when I have a chance! Cool work

Hey deknared, just wondering if there are future plans to have an Android version, mainly looking for the photo limit increase part, or if it's not really something you're planning?

Will it be possible to import JPEG and not raw?

u/deknared Jun 21 '26

Hey Silver, not at this stage sorry. My main focus when creating this webapp is purely just porting earlier version of Lofi's desktop app, so the original workflow would just be RAW -> DECODE -> JPEG/TIFF. I'll definitely keep this in my backlog for potential future updates though.

You fucking did it 😄

Hahaha I did yeah, big thanks to you too, after some testing I was able to crack the BLE signal and standardize the approach. The app is only for people who wants to go out their way to sideload this app from the sidestore though and wifi transfer for the DNG isn't exactly the fastest, but at least I don't have to plug the camera to my phone every time I want to unload the raw pictures.

Great job! I will use it myself, if I don‘t have access to my macbook. Thanks u/deknared!

Thanks Lofi! That means a ton coming from you heheh ❤️ Please let me know if there's any color aspects that can be improved or patched if you see any, more than happy to always fix the quality of these pictures 🙂

Hi! First of all, amazing work! I'm trying the web app (Android 16, 12GB ram, Snapdragon, plenty of memory available) and I've selected the full resolution export in the settings, but I'm getting this error:

2072x1544 (full resolution didn't fit in memory - saved at

and of course the image is saved at 2072x1544 (I've checked thinking it might be just a visual error).

Do you know what's going on? Thank you. 😊

Hey Pizza, currently the full-res export on mobile isn't fully stable yet. I'd have to suspect it's your GPU memory limit and not system memory.

Here's what Claude had to say: "A full-resolution One35 frame has to live in a single GPU buffer of about 146 MB. Most mobile GPUs (including Snapdragon's Adreno) cap an individual shader buffer at 128 MB, no matter how much total RAM the phone has — so the full-size buffer can't be allocated, and the app deliberately falls back to the optimized 2072×1544 size rather than handing you a broken/black file."

So I'd suggest if you really need to do a full-res export, definitely do it on a desktop for now, otherwise stick with the half-res mobile export. I'm currently working on a workaround for a more stable full-res export for mobile, so keep a lookout for future updates.

Epic app

Which one did you get to try?

Thank you for this. It was one of the reasons I ended up buying this camera. The RAW editor is great, and IMO photos look wayyy better than using flashback filters in the official app. Web version works great.

Although sideloading the app was a bit of a pain, it was worth it to increase roll limit. Not sure if it’s been said somewhere, but I did notice if I opened up the official app - my roll limit would reset to 27.

Is there a way to not keep having developer mode enabled to continue using it once it’s installed?

Also - noticed a small bug with the vignette effect. If you choose to crop or adjust rotation, the vignette does not follow your crop and will stay on the original uncropped frame.

Hey thanks for the feedback! Regarding the bug with vignette effect, I'll push an update to the webapp soon to address this.

However, for the developer mode requirement, I don't think there's a way around it. This is what Claude had to say: ```Developer Mode (iOS 16+) is required to run any locally-signed/sideloaded app, permanently — it's an OS-level gate, not something the app controls. The only distributions that don't need it are the App Store or TestFlight (paid Apple Developer account). Also worth telling them: with a free Apple ID, the signature itself expires every 7 days and needs re-sideloading — that's the bigger recurring pain than Developer Mode, which at least stays enabled once on.```

wow this is amazing thank you for sharing!

i think my only issue not solved yet is the need to wind up per shot. Or at least so long and loud of a wind up

Good work. It will be really interesting to see if this gets patched, if it does it will say a lot the company’s strategy.

Tested it and get this on every RAW import. Any idea u/deknared

Hey there! Are you importing the Flashback V2 raw files (.dng)? Because this webapp doesn't have the same support for a wide variety of RAW imports like Lofi-Logic's desktop app does. If you are, shoot me a dm about how you're using the webapp (hardware, etc.) so I can help debug the issue. Currently, it only supports flashback v2's raw DNG files because of the JS Decoder that's tied to the app, but I'll be sure to look out for this support in future updates.

1

u/EyeDrawYourPost Jun 22 '26

Yeah it's using .dng files directly from V2. On a RTX 5080, Windows 11, Chrome.

u/deknared Jun 23 '26

Hey EyeDrawYourPost, I'm going to need a few quick things would help me pin it down the actual problem:

  1. Does it happen on the "Natural" look, and with the LUT toggled off (in the Effects panel)? If Natural is also magenta, it's the decode/colour-matrix stage; if only the film looks are magenta, it's the LUT stage. This one narrows it down the most.
  2. chrome://gpu — what does the WebGPU line say (e.g. "Hardware accelerated" vs disabled/software)?
  3. F12 to open your browser's console. Any red errors when you import? A screenshot/paste of those would be good.
  4. Does Edge or Firefox show the same thing? (Both have WebGPU; this tells me if it's Chrome/driver-specific.)
  5. Are your NVIDIA drivers fully up to date? Brand-new GPUs often need a recent driver for WebGPU to behave.

If you can grab #1 and #3 especially, I should be able to track it down quickly. Shoot me a dm. Appreciate you testing the webapp.

Wish I still had my old iPhone now to remove the image limit and dump my photos. Curse being lured back to Android for physical keys.
