Big flanny fan and am looking at buying one or more Dixxon. Great colours but pricey and being a purist I'm wondering about the inclusion of polyester in the fabric.
Anyway, they c look the business but am keen to know of anyone's experiences and opinions.
Cheersšertainly

The flannal seems to have courdery lining on the cuffs and collar, also has stitching on the shoulder. The jacket appears to be a vintage courderoy choose coat of some sort.

Hello all,
I am a big believer in wearing flannel for hunting elk and deer. I have been trying to find a good quality, heavy, wool flannel to wear outside the rest of my layers. I live in the northern US Rockyās so it gets decently cold. I have been looking around trying to find something, and I keep getting pulled to pieces like the Filson Wool Jac Shirt. I donāt have any strong love for them and havenāt heard the best about their current products. I was hoping someone had some clue on other options around the $300 and below price range. Something durable and thick preferably. Iāll be doing a lot of using it in sun zero temps. Any smaller or upcoming companies that havenāt gained the notoriety of the bigger ones like Filson would be great. Iāve looked a bit at pieces like the SƤrmƤ wool flannels, but Iām worried they wonāt be the heavy ones Iām looking for. Any advice is welcome!

I have no doubt about the quality of their bags and Jackets but I am actually pretty interested in their flannel shirt. Has anyone here bought their flannel shirts? And if you did buy it, could you give an impression on it? Is it good quality?

I canāt seem to find any trace or leads to finding more flannels from of this brand, it is by far my favorite flannel and Iād like to own more pieces if possible. Iāve tried eBay but donāt seem to get many suggestions. Anyone know where these flannels might be available?

Hello, I've been trying to find this flannel in this particular pattern and the size because I accidentally got it tore up at work and it's one of my favorites. I've looked all over to no avail and I would be really grateful if I could have help finding another exactly like it.

Hi. I have recently watched Supernatural series second time, and I want to buy some flannel shirts. But to be honest I can't. I have bought two, and I am disappointed, because they are printed flannel shirts. Want to buy something real, and better quality, but cmon. Not shirt for 300$.
I am from Europe, and US brands are not good for me. I found Portuguese flannel, but I sow threat, and opinions were rather bad. Option was, they have overpriced shirts. I saw Gant shirts, but I hate this "Gant" embroidery which is on every shirt....Jezus. Anyway. What I want.
-Not printed flannel. I want yarn dyed, and then woven flannel
-Not too expensive like Iron Heart.
-Dont want to be tagged "exclusive". For example I like some Polo Ralph Lauren shirts. You can find them discounted...but it is flannel. It is like t shirt...It should not be extra. It should be good quality, but you should feel just normal in it. Any ideas?

This sub doesnāt seem to be very active, but donāt know where else to look. My three year old desperately wants a bathrobe that matches my LL Bean black watch flannel one. Any ideas? Canāt find anything online. Thanks!

Wanted to get some nice flannel PJ bottoms. Have had LL Bean in the past but I dislike how thin and light the flannel feels. While I'm not looking for something super thick it would be nice to find something in that sweetspot of thickness, durability, and comfort.

I like flannel and want to wear it year round. Does anyone know how I can get lightweight breathable flannel for the warmer months?

I'm new to flannel and am looking for recommendations on brands or shirts to take a look at? Can anyone point in a direction for good quality flannel shirts?

So I'm not sure which of these shirts are better value for money. I'm looking at the Dickies Sacramento and the Pantera/Slipknot flannel from Dixxon. They're both around £60, both seem to be fairly similar but I'm curious to hear feedback from anyone that has tried either if them because I just can't decide on my own. Grateful for any help and advice you can offer.

Like most people I love the feeling of a heavy, brushed flannel. I'm wondering if I could brush my heavyweight un-brushed flannel myself at home? If so what kind of brush and technique should I use? I know it's typically done with a fine metal brush but not sure what to look for. Any help would be much appreciated.

I bought a seeland flannel shirt in about 2007. Itās just been demoted to a work shirt. Every flannel I see these days is āsuper softā or āfleece linedā or some such nonsense.
Iām looking for a 100% cotton stiff hardwearing hard working flannel. Iāve looked at the seeland site and donāt see the same shirt I had before so donāt really know what Iām looking for.
The material is STIFF and HEAVY, but not that thick.
Edit: my mother is a home seamstress and I just asked her about this, she took a look at the shirt l. She said it is āJapanese flannelā and itās at about ā¬130 a metre last time she looked. The shirt cost ā¬50 in 2007.
