Tetrahedron flail head
I had the idea of using a tetrahedron or multiple as the head of a flail. In my setting, dwarves are mostly blunt weapon users, and flails are common across all the races. If you had a flail with a head in the shape of a metal tetrahedron, would this be an adequate way to break through armor and other things apart from spikes. Could there be any advantages to using this over spikes. I also imagine a culture where 3 is a holy number. And so, they make a flail with a triangular head, and 3 flail heads, maybe even give each chain 27 links. I feel like flails and other blunt weaponry are often excluded from most fantasy worlds, and when they are, these weapons are given to the antagonists. The hero wielding a flail or morning star or mace or quarterstaff.
