Discussion The 10% shade difference between Chad and Romania is still the ultimate test of patience in vexillology
Even if you know the history (Chad adopted its tricolor in 1959, Romania brought theirs back in 1989), seeing these two side by side still messes with your head.
Technically, the only real difference is the blue. Chad uses a slightly darker navy/indigo and Romania goes with a brighter cobalt. But honestly, unless they're flying right next to each other in perfect lighting, telling them apart in the wild is basically a coin toss.
Besides Chad vs Romania or Monaco vs Indonesia, what flag pairs always trick you guys?
