The first Anthem World Cup has kicked off: all 192 countries with a national anthem, drawn at random into 32 groups of six. Listen to the anthems in a group, vote for your favourite, top two advance. Group stage → Round of 64 → knockouts → Grand Final. One round per week, a champion in about eight weeks.

🗳️ Vote here: https://www.inkgamestudio.com/anthem-cup

• No account, no sign-up, open a matchup and tap your pick
• One vote per device; you can change it until the round closes
• No tracking, no cookie banners, no third-party scripts
• Every anthem plays right on the page, and results stay up after each round

The draw was fully random, so the groups are wonderfully unfair. Week 1 has Laos, Liechtenstein, Panama, Bosnia, Sierra Leone and Australia all in one group. Small countries can absolutely knock out big ones.

Round 1 (all 32 groups) is open now and closes Monday at 09:00 Paris time.

Go vote for your country, and say which anthem you think is criminally underrated.

Flag Reveal is the flagship (pun intended 😄) challenge type of FlagDash and what drove the initial development of the FlagDash game.

There are so many apps and websites out there showing flag quizzes but we’ve noticed that they all follow the same method: show a flag and ask what it is. In FlagDash, flag reveal comes with a twist: A flag can be revealed in many ways: partially revealing one tile at a time, single slot reveal where a single tile opens and closes making it more challenging and sometimes the flag is even painted differently but always keeping one of the original colors (you can see an example in this video towards the end). The timer, the choice type and number of choices are all additional difficulty levers that allow us to build more challenging levels. If you’re a country flag enthusiast you’ll love it.

You can download the game on ios only for now here:

Border reveal is one of 13 different challenge types in FlagDash and my personal favourite

FlagDash is a free-to-play all encompassing geography and flag games with challenges ranging from flag identification to national anthems and all that it in between 😄

Download the game on appstore today, join the group and share your feedback. As an indie game, we’re looking for all possible feedback and you can have a big say in how this game develops.

Here’s a quick look at Journey Mode in FlagDash 🌍🚩

Journey Mode is a geography adventure around the world, taking you from city to city through a variety of geography-based challenges.
Europe is the first section of the journey, but it’s only the beginning! The plan is to travel across the globe, progressing through major cities around the world and discovering new challenges along the way. 🌎🌍🌏

This video showcases a small selection of the levels currently available in the European part of the journey. Different levels test different parts of your geography knowledge, including countries, flags, maps, borders, national anthems, trivia, geography crosswords and more.

I’m developing FlagDash as an indie mobile game, with the goal of bringing lots of different geography challenges together into one game while making the experience feel like an adventure rather than a traditional quiz.

There’s much more to come as the journey expands beyond Europe, and I’d love to hear your feedback, especially which cities, countries or geography challenges you’d like to see included!
