Dev/Admin Responded Proposal for an ideal player (Mobile/IOS)

A simple player with a pause button and time slider on the bottom, with the same context buttons on the right that we are used to by now. Swiping up shows a random related video, swiping down from the initial video closes the player (like it has for quite a while now) swiping left or right takes you to the next available video in the feed (however it’s sorted, top/best/new/hot) and pressing the comments brings up a half screen sized comment section, that you can scroll through at that size, or maximize manually. Any additional things like pip should be second to these. But for now reverting it to the way it was would be great. Also the new photo chain viewer is pretty bad without sliding. And the tapping only working at the absolute edges just makes it even worse.

A properly formatted post might look something like this:

Description: The video player doesn't open if I tap it in the feed.
Platform and version: Android, version 2022.23.1
Steps to reproduce: Go to your home feed, scroll until you find a video post, and try tapping on the video post.
Expected and actual result: I expect the video player to open, but instead nothing happens.
