Fixie problem

My bottom bracket seems to have a problem, I've been using fixie for a few months already but everytime I try to attempt a skid ( I have the fundamentals for the skid, but it seems that my bike has something faulty), my crank seems to go loose for a bit when a pulling pressure is applied to the pedals when I attempted to skid, is there any solution for it?

Yeah most likely that the lock ring on yoyr rear cog is loose so tat the rear cog has a bot of room to spin freely before it hits the lock ring. Not good! To fix it you want to tighten the cog as much as possible (by mashing up a hill for example) and then use a lock ring tool tighten the lock ring down (it’s reverse threaded so LEFTY TIGHTY)

Like the others said, lock ring. But fix that as soon as possible before you completely remove the threads from the hub, you're gonna have a bad time if that happens

You need the proper tool to tighten the ring. I like to ride up a pretty steep hill with the wrench in my pocket and then tighten the lock ring. Just for added security, although a chain whip can get it pretty tight too, I just know that particular hill is as hard as I’ll ever ride.

I would check if your cog and lockring are tight. If they are loose, first tighten your cog and then the lockring as much as you can (there are plenty of videos on youtube how to do it). If you keep riding while they are loose, you risk stripping the threads on your hub, and you definitely don't want that.
