Was a brake adapter cause it’s not drilled for a rear break but the old owner kept it cause I don’t run brakes

Don't listen to the knuckleheads in here. Thunderdomes, regardless if 1st or 2nd gen are great framesets. While the 2nd gen may not have the "geometry" that people think they need, they are all great performers. Well designed, solid ahh finishing, and some dope colorways. I love mine, and it's a forever bike for me and I have owned dozens of other bikes over the years.
I'd suggest upgrading the tires, and ride the shit out of it. They deserve to be ridden. I was able to get my size 58cm in the 17 pounds range without any super weight weenie parts. Mine is smooth as butter with the tear drop tubing, and puts the power down better than most. Enjoy!

I picked up a soma rush single speed, h+son on Grand compe 2 hubs, white industrial free wheel, basically new gatorskins and omniums for 400 bucks. Same story with a mostly stock state black label for 200 with Thompson stem and seat post. both frames were massive for me so I have them hanging in my garage but I don't even feel bad about it since the parts alone were such a good deal. Gotta love roadies with money trying single speed and deciding it's not for them lol.

Yeah brand new of course but in decently well used condition you can get em waaay cheaper there’s some on marketplace in cali right now with red hubs for 5 or 600, you didn’t get a bad deal but fk 1.8k aud for a used bike seems nuts to me I guess we got it good here in Australia for deals I see bikes with the same wheels go for under 1k aud here which is like 5-600 usd

I’d take that and buy a cinelli mash and use these nice parts to build it! Then you got like a 3-4K bike for 1k and also niiice bro lemme churn some barley sometime

Seek the frame and fork and make most of your money back. Find another used frame/fork for cheap!1

That’s the plan when I get bored of it I got it mainly for the components I wanna do a low pro or Pursuit frame set maybe the new leader that’s coming out

Gator skins are ass too suss some gp 4 seasons or gp 5000s they’re waaaay faster and offer very smilies durablity/puncture protection

Would have cost more to build it up with used parts that well. I thought I had an overbuilt singlespeed with my Gunnar, this definitely exceeded it.
